The Story
San Francisco, 1973. After the sudden death of his wife, Steve Abbott moves with his young daughter Alysia to a city in the middle of its own becoming — and begins, for the first time, to live openly as a gay man. Raised among poets, activists, and the found family of her father's bohemian world, Alysia grows up both freer and lonelier than the children around her.
